MTI welcomes quality carriers who want to work in partnership with us developing new Professional Drivers. Our clients spend up to 8 weeks full time at MTI developing their skills to a level where they can pass our skills evaluations and graduate. As a partner carrier you will have the opportunity to interview and make job offers to our MTI Way students. We recommend you interview and make job offers when the students are at the 4 week point in our program. Once we know which employer a student is going to we can customize the remainder of their training to best prepare them for you.
Once a student arrives at your company we recommend they work with a coach for at least 4 weeks to polish their skills and get acclimatized to your processes and procedures. Having access to a mentor for the following 6 months also provides needed support to ensure your new employee’s success. Follow-up ride-alongs with your safety department are recommended at least every 3 months for the first year.
As a partner carrier of The MTI Way program you will be expected to provide us with promotional materials from your company, an electronic copy of your logo for our website and a direct link on your website. Recruiting students can be very expensive and we also ask that you include the following in your driver recruitment ads:

We also have partner carriers that support students with tuition financing and we would be pleased to discuss this program in detail with you. We appreciate your interest in The The MTI Way program but the only carriers to be considered for partnership will:
- Offer safe equipment to operate
- Expect drivers to follow Hours of Service regulations
- Operate legally at all times.
